    This page is provided to help you choose an optional excursion. You will select, register and pay for your excursion when you fill out the Conference Registration Form. If you have questions, contact Dawna Allison.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    All tours take place Sunday, July 25th. These tours are privately contracted by CollegeNET. Advance registration is required. The final day to register for or cancel an excursion is July 16, 2010. No refunds or invoice recalls are possible for cancellations received after that date.

    PORTLAND EPICUREAN EXCURSION (culinary walking tour) – July 25th

    epicurean image   Eat, drink, and laugh your way through the Pearl District — A unique and delicious Walking Tour where you'll taste foods, sip drinks, meet artisans & vendors in their bakeries, teahouses, breweries, and shops — while exploring the lively Pearl District. It’s recommended that walkers eat only a light meal before the tour!

    Transportation: Walking (less than 1.5 miles)

    Cost: $59 per person (all ages)

    GRAPE ESCAPE WINERY TOUR – July 25th

    grape photo   An afternoon escape into the gorgeous Willamette Valley Wine Region including visits to three esteemed Oregon wineries, tasting, appetizers, lunch and dessert to compliment the wines you taste.

    Transportation: Van - departs from and returns to the Hilton

    Cost: $100 per person

    WILLAMETTE JET BOAT EXCURSION – July 25th

    jetboat image   Explore Portland's historic bridges, skyline, world class ship yards and scenic waterfront. Glide past spectacular riverfront homes on your way to the magnificent Willamette Falls, stopping just yards from the cascading water. Note: You may get very wet, dress casually and carefully protect your electronic gear.

    Transportation: Trolley ride to the waterfront for boat loading at 11:45am

    UNDERGROUND PORTLAND (historical walking tour) – July 25th

    underground image   Not all of the illicit, naughty, bawdy, corrupt and shady activities happened below street level, but all were underground and hidden. On this walk you'll be exposed to the social underground and the subterranean underground. This walk is a treat for lovers of all things sinister – crime, scandal and controversial characters – this tour winds through Old Town and Chinatown, exposing the city’s sordid side.
